Oh yes, we all think he is just wonderful! Even my mom hasn't had any complaints about him and she doesn't really like any animals!
Monday, we had to take the girls to the dentist. Never a fun trip but not always as bad as you think it will be. Their dentist always tells us to stop by McDonald's and get an ice cream. Only this time, we went by Dairy Queen instead. AJ didn't get a shot so she got a Dilly bar that was an anomaly if you would like to call it that. At least, I've never seen one made this way.Have you ever seen a Dilly Bar that looked like this? It was just as good as they ever were but rather strange looking!
We've only had Peanut since Saturday but I think he has moved in. I called the vet yesterday and made an appointment to take him over this morning and have him fixed and get him updated on all his shots and have his teeth looked at. When I went in to get him this morning to go potty, this is what I found. You can't tell me that he doesn't feel at home or he wouldn't be laid out and asleep like this! The vet called this afternoon and because of the overbite or underbite (I can't remember which one now) his lower teeth were so worn that they had to pull three of his teeth. We could see that some of his front teeth looked as if they had been filled down. And where he had been eating only soft food, he had an awful lot of tartar. We had tried feeding him and he would not eat but we finally hand fed him some soft food. We thought he was so spoiled that it was the only way he would eat but now we are thinking that it is because his teeth were so worn down that it hurt to eat unless someone put the food in his mouth and bypassed the teeth in the front. Poor baby. I go pick him up tomorrow. All of us are eager to see him. I will be glad when he trusts us enough to stick with us and no wander around in the house.
Later!
