We went to see the fireworks last night. And B brought something to our attention.......which is nothing unusual. She's never seen the finale. Last year, the woods caught on fire and the fireworks were cancelled and the year before A chewed on one of the neon necklaces and got the glow stuff all over her and we had to leave so we could wash it off of her. She kept asking is this the finale. We had a pretty nice family on the left side of us, and two truckfuls of roudy people on the right and behind us. We were in the same area as last year only the area was cleaned out and it looks like they are going to build something new there. We saw a lot of the smoke from the fireworks this year. The wind wasn't blowing enough to blow it away. The girls enjoyed themselves only the traffic afterwards took an hour to get from the place where we parked to the bridge in town............Let's see......we have pictures of the girls waiting for the fireworks to start.........................the prettiest firework of all to me...........B enjoying her lollipop from Hansel and Gretel's Candy Store.................B eating watermelon after the parade..................A acting like she didn't know I was going to take her picture while waiting for the fireworks.............and A jamming while waiting in traffic on the way to see the fireworks.
I know my pictures are out of order as the day happened but after I loaded them, I was too tired of waiting for good internet to rearrange them.....just enjoy!

Fun! Love the firework shot!
ReplyDeleteHow did you manage to get that fireworks shot???? Share the secret.
ReplyDeleteIts a combination of different things........1st none of it is me because I just take pictures and don't know how to take a good picture. I use a Canon Digital Rebel XSi. Can't tell you nothing about speed or exposure though. I turn the top knob (see I don't even know what's its really called) to the sports/athletic setting. And I shoot constantly! With it being at night, the shutter will be slow and I try to be as still as I can while taking them. I take as many as I can because probably 99% of them won't be any good. I might get two or three good ones. I'm not a photographer, I just take tons of pictures so sooner or later, I've got to get a good shot!
