Recent Photos and Update

Spring break was last week. We didn't go anywhere, A had practice for her part in Peter and The Wolf. Her group was the meadow. I didn't see them since I was working back stage. She always wants me back stage where I can be close to her. But the girls didn't eat until Mr. Frey offered a Chik-Fil-A at intermission. Thank Goodness! And, as B said...hey, it was cold but it sure was good! I think from now on, J can work back stage and I can be our family's gopher. We are always (or at least I am) so stressed out that if I can be the one that makes sure that everything comes all together at the last minute, even that we do have flowers, then I will be ok. Then I can be sure that everyone is taken care of at the last minute. But, maybe things will be smoother for all of us. Something's got to give in our wild and wacky way of doing things around here!

Beka learning to decorate cookies.......I'm not that good at cakes so I don't think I will be that good at teaching her to decorate cookies. We are giving it another shot for Easter.

Having fun with cousin Bobby. Hey, I always thought he was the greatest so now they do too. I never realized until I saw this picture how much he looks like our Uncle Johnnie.

I have never paid to have a dog professionally bathed. Poor Peanut. He was shedding so much hair that I could not get it all combed out. The girls and I took him and requested that he get pink toenails and a bow in his hair. He did get the bow in the hair but not pink toenails. PetSmart calls it the Furminator, he's still shedding but not as bad.

Most Painful

More like the pain of all of my frustration!

For the last two weeks I have been battling a sinus infection, allergies and the most painful something that no one would really put a name to. The doctor at themed stop said it was allergies and fluid behind my middle ear drum. My regular doctor's nurse told me that it probably wasn't an ear infection because most adults (and I've heard this before) don't have ear infections but have TMJ instead. I realize that but I couldn't hear out of my left ear suddenly and it was more painful than ever. By Tuesday, I was almost crying with the pain. I called my ENT and asked if there was any way I could see him or the PA and they got me in that afternoon. The PA told me that it was definitelyTMJ, did the test for fluids in my middle ear and then took me back for my hearing test. When I ws finished with the hearing test, the lady told me I had lost a dramatic amount of hearing in my left ear since 2007 when I had my last test. So, I go back to the dr'f office. When he come in, he goies to 'spouting' medical terms that I can't hear because he's on my left side and when I sk what, he says that he'd have to kill me if he told me, but he brings out the tine thingee, and hits it and puts it in different areas and I can barely hear it every where he puts it so now I am on a horse-size antibiotic and a steriod. I feel that the first day that my hearing started gettingbetter but since then, I can't tell a difference. I guess I will have tow ait and see. I do hope it comes back.

And, according to Beka......it is more important for me to scrapbook than it is for me to blog. She says (and you know she knows me pretty well) that if I will journal here and just keep up with my photos, I cna do better. I do know that I can't keep up with both of them, I guess I need a camera that I can download wirelessly (is there such a thing?) but, I am now 2 months behind with my 365 scrapbooking so I'm going to regroup and try it Beka's way and see if I can get caught up. I will at least try to keep you all updated on the blog even if I don't update you with photos....................I'm just a slow person!

And, where did that come from? I use to be so on top of everything. I don't know what's up anymore! Old age I guess.

Totally Unexpected

Last night on the news, it said there was a 20% chance of snow. We commented that it wouldn't happend and the girls that it had to happen. When B and I went to church this morning, it was raining and I saw something coming toward the windshield. As I saw it coming I told her to "LOOK, IT'S SNOWING" as I realized that it wasn't snow that ti was sleet. We so seldom get either that I get the two confused! HA! While we were at church, Mr. T told us that we wouldn't have church tonight due to the weather because we didn't know what would happen and B asks if it is going to snow and if Mr. T knows about the secret. We came home from church, ate lunch, a good stew that I started, added to and then mama added to so I have no clue to the recipe for but B ate 2nds and 3rds of the meat so it had to be good!. I nearly fell asleep so I lay down and took a nap while they all went riding. The phone kept ringing so I got up and called them to find our where they were and as I hung up the phone, the garage door came came up. They had gone to WR and seen snow. About 30 minutes later, A told me to come look that it was snowing. She's always playing games and then saying 'tricked you' but it was snowing.

Man! I went in to action. Get your socks and shoes on. Get longs sleeves on. Get glooves. Where's your coat? Where's you boots? Here, put this on. Even Peanut got in to the action. Are we all ready to go now? And so, here's one of all the pictures we took.

Here's the pile of gloves and head warmers that I bought last year I drug out of the closet for everyone to wear this afternoon!

Peanut out in the snow. He doesn't like cameras, so I can't get a good facial shot of him!

Family photo minus me!

WOW! What a day and the snow's all gone now! I guess we will be going to work and school tomorrow!

Its Snowing In Yonker!

It's Friday!

Oh Yeah! We have such a big weekend lined up. We went to eat at Taco Bell tonight. A realized last night that she loves tacos. The kid has never had a hard shell taco. B has had a soft shelled one before but A has always ate the nachos like me and never eaten anything else there. After that, we went tosee the Jonas Brothers 3-D. They were great. Even if it was just a movie. I don't know what's wrong with me but I cried. I am someone who never cries. One minute I would be laughing at B and the next I would be crying at how good the JoBros were. Something is definitely not right with me. Then we went to Wally World for the weekend trek of grocery shopping. The girls want sandwiches for lunch tomorrow, steak for supper and they are having roast for Sunday lunch. It was after 11 when we got home. A was asleep in the back of the van. In fact, her head fell over on the way home. We knew she was out for the night. We dropped B off at my mom's, its her night there and we hope to sleep late tomorrow morning. We are starting our income taxes in the morning. Yuck. Who ever likes doing them? But, I would like to get them out of the way. And, we are cleaning house.......................and that is all.

I have lots of pics tonight. You know how you feel when its Friday? Well, here it is Friday and when you find out your boss isn't coming in to work either.

Here's the girls with the Jonas Brothers when they got off the plane in New York. Yeah, right! They only wish!
And then, here's the gang in the theater. I have to say that I thought there'd be as many there for the JoBros as there was for Hannah Montana but Hannah beat them hands down.

Have a great weekend guys!

Breaking News!!

::: BREAKING NEWS :::
In 2009 the government
will start deporting
all the mentally ill people.

I started crying
when I thought of you.

Run my little crazy friend, run!

Well, what can I say ??
Someone sent it to me,
and no, I'm NOT going alone !!

This was the ode I was talking about earlier this week. A friend at work sent it to me and you know, some times I feel exactly like this! What really gets my attention is the run my little crazy friend, run!

Gotcha!

This morning as I was leaving for work, B whispers to me that she has to tell me something. I can hear J pulling out of the driveway at the same time. I ask he what. She tells me that Daddy played his ds last night when he was supposed to be asleep. Then the little stinker gives me the thumbs up sign. I'm not so sure that she's exactly right! I went in to ask him something before I went to bed and he was working on the ds. All three of them bought a Nerf Armour to protect their ds's and he was having trouble getting his off to get his charger in to charge his. Or at least that is he told me but according to B, he played until his battery went dead and now he is in trouble. I bought the ds for his Valentine's gift this year and so he can play it when ever he wants to and he's not in trouble but I guess she's thinking if she had been playing it when she should have been sleeping, she would have been in trouble so he should have been in trouble too.

Hmm, I guess I will have to give him a time out!
And here's where AJ takes ballet, the picture for yesterday. Ms. G is an awesome teacher!

Later!
